Additional Dialing Features

In addition to pressing numbers on your keypad, you can insert
numbers or characters and send calls in a variety of ways.
While dialing (with digits visible in the display):
Do This

Press
for two

insert the international access code
for the country from which you are
calling
insert a special character when
making a call that requires you to dial
and send additional digits (for
example, to make a calling card call,
or to retrieve messages from an
answering machine):
Pause tells your phone to wait

Wait tells your phone to wait
