A.
Remote control sensor
Press
to expose it, it can then be turned 360" to
face the remote control location.
The remote control can be used within a range of
4 m (13 ft) from the front of the sensor window on
the camcorder.

Power zoom button (xl O)
Press the "T" side of power zoom button for a
close-up shot and the "W" side for a wide-angle
shot.

When the
POWER
switch is set to
"OFF",
the
zoom will automatically return to the zoom-out
position.

Eyesight compensation ring
Pull the viewfinder out into operating position.
Turn the camcorder on, then while looking into the
viewfinder turn the ring, to the right or to the left,
to obtain the clearest possible picture.

Install the shoulder belt as illustrated.:

Stand-by switch
When the
POWER
switch is set to
"CAMERA", the
stand-by switch
is used as follows:
(a)
For recording; press the REC START/STOP
(H)
button to start recording or to go into
recording pause mode. (STANDBY)
(b)
When not recording momentarily; the power
to the viewfinder is cut in order to save the
battery pack charge. (POWER
SAVE)
