WARNING

Symptom
LOW WaTER Light is lit.
Heat is too hot.
Heat is not hot enough.
Unit is on, but no lights.
No heat.
No heat and no lights.

Probable Cause
Low amount of water in unit.
Heat controls set too high.
Heat control(s) defective.
Unit plugged into incorrect/high voltage.
Heat controls set too low.
Heat control(s) defective.
Heating element(s) not working.
Blown fuse.
Heating elements not working.
Heat controls not working properly.
Unit plugged into incorrect/low voltage.
Power ON/OFF (I/O) switch turned OFF.
Unit not plugged in or outlet not working.
Circuit breaker tripped.
Power ON/OFF(I/O) switch defective.

TROuBLESHOOTING GuIDE

ELECTRIC SHOCK HAzARD: Turn OFF power switch,
unplug power cord, and allow unit to cool before
performing any cleaning, adjustments, or maintenance.
Fill the water reservoir with water. Each reservoir has
a 3 quart (2.8 liter) capacity. Press the red Reset
Button (located to the left of the indicator light) after
filling reservoir.
adjust heat controls to a lower setting.
Contact authorized Service agent or Hatco for
assistance.
Verify that voltage supply matches electrical
information listed on the unit.

Replace blown fuse, follow "Replacing a Fuse"
