Install the hopper shield (3) onto the conveyor frame using 3/8" x 1" carriage bolts (1) and 3/8" locknuts (2).

Note Apply grease to frame pieces if required. Note Steps 2–4 will be performed later in the hopper cloth installation.

Clip the hopper springs over the tabs on the hopper and shaft bracket (see Figure 24). 4. Fasten a 3/8" x 2-1/2" bolt (3), 3/8" washer (4), and 3/8" nut (5) on the shaft bracket such that the loop on the spring captures the bolt.
