Function Keys

Your Writer has a row of fourteen keys along the top row of the keyboard. You
can use the following table to understand the special functions of these keys.
Press to return to the iPad's 'Home' screen
Press to bring up the iPad's search window
Press to bring up the iPad's image gallery
Press to bring up the iPad's on screen virtual keyboard
Press to perform a text 'cut' function when an app permits text input
Press to perform a text 'copy' function when an app permits text input
Press to perform a text 'paste' function when an app permits text input
Press quickly to move to the next song; hold to fast forward while
playing a song
Press to pause or play a song
Press quickly to move to the previous song; hold to fast rewind while
playing a song
Press to mute sound volume
Press and hold to reduce sound volume
Press and hold to increase sound volume
Press to lock the iPad screen
