En tering Characters
In the phone book you can ac com pany any number you store
with a name. To en ter the char ac ters in the name, fol low the
in struc tions be low.
l Press the ap pro pri ate key, 1–9, 0 or #, re peat edly un til
the de sired char ac ter ap pears in the dis play.

To en ter an A, press the nu meric key 2 once.

Tip! To en ter a digit, you can press and hold down the nu meric

Note! If there is a pause of more than 60 sec onds be tween en ter ing
char ac ters, the phone will re turn to the standby menu.
To En ter Low er case Let ters
En ter the let ter, for ex am ple an ' A' , and then press . An

To Check the First Char ac ters
If you en ter more char ac ters than can be seen in the dis play,
the first char ac ters will be re placed by the
