Fuse
To replace a fuse, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the fuseholder on the back of the IEC 320 style A/C input connector
2. Replace fuse with same or equivalent rated part and/or model number.
Refer to Input Power requirements as specified in Chapter 1, 1-6.

DC Power (Optional)
DC power is an available option. Contact EFData Customer Support for further
assistance.

Ground (GND) or Earth
A #10-32 stud is available on the rear panel for the purpose of connecting a common
chassis ground among all of the equipment.
Note: A safety ground is provided through the AC power connector.

Proper Operations for Emissions (CE)
Note: To ensure compliance with the EMC Directive 89/336/EEC, properly shielded
cables for Data I/O shall be used. These cables shall be doubled-shielded from end-to-
end, ensuring a continuous ground shield.
