1. Use an Ethernet cable (included with Netgear device) to connect the Ethernet network port on your computer / laptop to the LAN port on the back of the NETGEAR device. See diagrams below for Netgear TA612V and WGR613V models.

2. Open an Internet browser and enter (or copy and paste) the address provided below that corresponds to your Netgear model – the links contain firmware that will ‘unlock’ your Netgear device. IMPORTANT: You MUST download the right firmware for your right unit.

4. In your Internet browser address bar, type in this EXACT address: http://192.168.61.1/upgrade and press ’Enter ‘ 5. A pop-up window will ask for the User name and Password – enter the following: Username : admin Password : (a unique password was provided to you in the same email from our team as the link to this Guide)

6. Once successfully logged in, you will see the Netgear Router Upgrade Page. On this page, click on ‘Browse’ and select the firmware file which you’ve just saved into your computer desktop in Step 3 and then click ‘OK’ 7. Finally, click the ‘Upload’ button to unlock your device.
