    BACKLIGHT KEY Press the * key to turn the backlight on and press again to turn it off. This will reset after you power the clamp meter off. 13. HOLD The HOLD function key can be used to freeze any reading being measured on any setting. After pressing the HOLD key, the displayed value is locked and held until the HOLD key is pressed again or until the clamp meter is powered off.
