INITIAL SET UP
Take time to register your ownership of your new SR
2
regulator at
www.SherwoodScuba.com
Registration is necessary to participate in Sherwood's free service parts
program and to receive product update notices. In order to qualify for
free service parts every 24 months you must 1) Purchase your SR
2
from an
Authorized Sherwood Dealer. 2) Register your SR
2
via SherwoodScuba.
com within 30 days following purchase, including the serial numbr of the
product. 3) Have your SR
2
inspected annually by an Authorized Sherwood
Scuba repair facility and retain proof of inspection. 4) Obtain a complete
overhaul service at intervals not to exceed 24 months or 300 hours of use.
5) Present your origianl receipt of purchase to an Authorized Sherwood
Scuba Dealer at the time of service.
When your regulator is serviced by an Authorized Sherwood Dealer we
will provide one set of service parts at no charge. The cost of labor to
perform the service is not included and is the responsibility of the customer.
Your Authorized Sherwood Dealer is an excellent resource for setting
up your regulator for use. Installation of important ancillary devices such
as the submersible pressure gauge, alternate air source and buoyancy
compensator supply requires specific knowledge on proper installation with
the SR
2
and this task should be left to a qualified technician.
