MSW4 is a gateway between the Comfort
System4™ and a WiFi router. The Gateway
features a graphical user interface, allowing you
to remote controll the functions of the Central
Controller in the heating system,
Wireless communication with the Central Con-
troller ensures simple installation.
The Gateway is for wall mounting close to the
router.
NOTE: The Gateway requires a Central Con-
troller with software version 1.12 or newer.

WarNING – Important safety instructions
Never attempt to open the Gateway.
Disconnect the power supply before perform-
ing installation or maintenance work on the unit
or its associated components. This control unit
and its associated components can be installed
by anyone. Electrical installation must be in ac-
cordance with relevant regulations.
INSTallING ThE GaTEWay
dO NOT open the Gateway.
1. Mount the Gateway on the wall.
There are "keyholes" on the rear of the hous-
ing for screws – see the drilling template
below for details.
2. Distance between the wall and the rear face
of the screw head should be 3.5 mm.
3. Connect the cables as shown in the wiring
diagram (fig. 1).
SETuP
1. Make sure the Central Controller is in "listen-
ing mode" (Press Menu/System settings/Add
unit).
2. Switch on the power to the Gateway.
3. "Con" flashes on the Gateway.

the Gateway; Communication ok.
6. Readout the IP-address for the Gateway

7. The Gateway is now ready to use via the
web-server. Set the server to search for the
IP-address of the Gateway.

ErrOr COdES
If a error occurs, the Gateway will display an
error code as follows:
Con: Searching for connection to the Central
Controller.
OFL: No connection to the network router.
Err: The Central Controller does not support
the Gateway (Software version too old).
E6: Communication error. No connection to
the Central Controller.
