WS9TCHW Installation Instructions

The WS9TCHW touchscreen keypad is compatible and intended for use
with the iotega Wireless Security System.
Use these instructions with the iotega Reference Manual, available at
www.dsc.com. Refer to that document for safety instructions and for
information regarding the limitations of product use and function, and to
manufacturer's liability.

Mounting the Hardware
intrusion
Step 1a
For concealed wiring, run
the USB power cable
through the wall.
Step 1b
For surface wiring, remove
the breakaway tab from the
bottom of the mounting
bracket and run the USB
power cable through the
channel.
Step 2
Attach the mounting bracket
to the wall. If mounting on
drywall, mark the four install-
ation points, remove the
mounting bracket, and
install drywall anchors.
Step 3
Connect the USB power
cable to the WS9TCHW
before inserting into the
mounting bracket.
Note: The WS9TCHW must be connected to AC power.
Mounting the Hardware
Step 4
Insert the left side of the
WS9TCHW into the mounting
bracket at a slight angle, then
press the right side down until it
clicks into place.
Remove From Mounting Bracket
Insert a flat head screw-
driver into one of the corner
slots on the right side of the
mounting bracket and lift
up.
Enrolling onto the iotega Panel
1. Power up the WS9TCHW.
2. Select a language and country from the list.
3. Read and Accept the privacy policy and terms and
conditions. Acceptance is mandatory in order to use this
device.
4. Via the installer application or portal, enter the WS9TCHW
serial number.
5. Tap Touchscreen Enrollment.
Note: If enrollment is unsuccessful, ensure that the correct
serial number was entered.
