Configuring the Camera's Wireless Settings
Configuring a Network Profile Using the PIN Method

Establish a cabled or wireless connection between the computer and access
point, and open the access point's WPS configuration page.
For instructions on connecting the access point to a computer and displaying the
configuration pages, see the documentation provided with the wireless LAN access point.

Choose Network profile from the Wireless
settings option (A 26) in the camera's setup menu
and press the
k
button.

Choose PIN-code WPS and press the k button.
An eight-digit PIN will be displayed.

Enter the PIN displayed in the camera's monitor in the WPS configuration
page's PIN field on the computer.

Press the k button on the camera.
If the message, Configuration failed. is displayed, begin again
from step 2. If configuration fails repeatedly, configure the
network profile manually (A 28).
When setting up the wireless LAN features of the camera for the first time, next enter
the information required for my Picturetown user registration. See "b Entering my
Picturetown User Information" (A 33).

Registering with my Picturetown

Registration (creation of a user account) with my Picturetown is required to take
advantage of my Picturetown services.

Use a computer to open the e-mail notification requesting user registration.
E-mail notification requesting user registration with my Picturetown will be sent to the e-mail
address specified for user information.
If my Picturetown user information was configured using the Utility (A 20), e-mail notification
requesting user registration with my Picturetown will be sent after user information is sent to
my Picturetown. User information has been sent to my Picturetown when the Action
completed successfully dialog is displayed.
If my Picturetown user information was configured using the camera (A 33), use Picture Mail
(A 44) or Picture Bank (A 46, 47) to upload pictures to my Picturetown once to receive e-mail
notification requesting user registration with my Picturetown.

Click the URL provided in the e-mail notification requesting user
registration, and register with my Picturetown from the sign-up Web page.
The following information is required for user registration:
- Nickname (the alias stored in the camera's Sender setting; A 20, 33)
- Email ID (the e-mail address stored in the camera's Sender setting; A 20, 33)
- Password for my Picturetown (the password specified if user information was configured
using the Utility; A 20)
- Key information* (not necessary if user information was configured using the Utility)
* Confirm key information by selecting Key information from the Wireless settings
option (A 26) in the camera's setup menu, and pressing
Wireless settings
