Connecting NX high precision frames

Necessary tools
5 mm Allen wrench.
8 mm Allen wrench.
Laser level.
Necessary parts
2 hexagon socket bolts, M8 x 20, 17379, reference A (B360903).
2 hexagon socket head cap bolts, M10 x 35, D934, reference B (B366815).
4 spring lock washers, D10 / 2D16, D7980, reference C (B366814).
2 frame mounting nuts, reference D.
2 hexagon nuts, M10, D934, reference E (R366116).
Before you start
Each high precision frame includes 2 sets of fasteners reference (1) and 2 sets of fasteners reference (2). Use each set one time in
one corner. In combination with fastener sets of the neighboring frames, all corner can be fixed.
Set number one uses a high precision bolt. To answer to the tolerances indicated in this manual, only the use
of one set is allowed in each direction. Use one set in the vertical direction, the other set in the horizontal
direction. Spread both sets equally over the whole NX display using a pattern as illustrated below.

How to connect NX high precision frames?
1. Align the frames next to each other and position the nuts in the slots as illustrated.
Note: No tools are required to insert or block these nuts.

2. Insert the bolts and fasten them with a torque of 19 N/m.
