Preface PREFACE Overview The Wander Management Solution monitors doors, elevators, hallways, and stairwells to assist staff in monitoring residents in a facility. The transmitter is placed on the wrist or ankle of the resident. If a transmitter is detected in an Exit Alarm Zone and the door is open, an alarm sounds at the exit. -

General Information Warranty Each transmitter is stamped with a warranty expiration date. This date indicates the date Expiration that RF Technologies’ warranty on that Date transmitter expires. If the warranty period has expired, discard the transmitter immediately. General Information Reusable The Adult transmitter can be used with a Locking reusable locking band. The material used to make these bands is thicker; therefore making it stronger and more difficult to cut through or stretch. Testing and Care TESTING AND CARE Transmitter Do not use the transmitter tester on a transmitter with an expiration date that has Testing expired. Results may not be accurate. All steps are mandatory. CAUTION: You must test all transmitters prior to use to verify proper operation. This includes every time that the band is replaced. -
