Browser

WAP (Wireless Application Protocol): protocol that translates the Internet language into WML and HTML, which is
understood by a phone. The WAP function enables connection to certain Internet sites. You can connect to sites
to download to your phone ring tones, icons, animated screen savers, Java™ applications and videos.

WAP menus

WAP connection

The connection to a WAP service on the GSM, GPRS or EDGE network is not cut off if an incoming call is received. You can
answer the call. On connecting to a GSM or GPRS network, the @ character starts to flash. The communication cost
counting starts once it is on steady.

Downloading objects

Some WAP sites allow you to download ring tones, icons, animated screensavers, games and Java™ applets. Once
downloaded, they can be stored in your phone. You can then store them in your phone (same operation as for downloading
by MMS).
Browser
Go to URL: this menu allows the direct entry of an Internet address.
Bookmarks: used to store bookmarks (Internet site addresses).
A bookmark stored in the list can be modified, sent or deleted.
You can also receive bookmarks and add them to this list.
History: the displayed pages browsed are stored.
Settings:
Profiles: used to select or modify the configuration parameters of your access
provider or to configure the parameters of other access providers.
Disconnection timer: used to select the timer after which automatic
disconnection occurs if you have forgotten to log off from a service.
