    This manual is intended to accompany version 4 of the software, which was released in May 2006. If you have an earlier version of the software, please contact your Voltech supplier for an upgrade. The software version is displayed in the software in the 'About' section of the 'Help' menu.

    4. G ETTING TARTED 4.1. TARTING THE OFTWARE Installing software will create a program shortcut in the ‘Voltech Software’ program group. Click on IEC 61000 Software' to start the software. 4.2. ETTING P THE QUIPMENT To test products to IEC61000-3, you will probably set up a test rig similar to the one shown below.

    One easy way to connect break the conductor carrying the power to the equipment under test is to use one of Voltech’s Break Out boxes. They come with a variety of different outlet types and provide an easy way to connect your equipment under test while making easy connections for voltage and current.
