How to use the internal DVD drive

This section describes how to use the internal DVD-ROM installed in the system
unit as standard equipment.
For how to use other optional devices, see the manuals supplied with respective
optional devices.
Inserting/Removing a Disc

Inserting a disc
1. Confirm that the busy indicator is off and then press the eject button to eject
the tray.

2. Put a disc on the tray with the label side facing up.
3. Push the disc until the disc center hole fits with the latch of the tray with a
click.

Observe the following instructions when inserting or removing a disc.
Failure to do so may cause a failure of the drive.
Do not turn off the power while the busy indicator is lit.
Do not push or pull the tray forcibly.
Do not insert a cracked or deformed disc into the drive.
Do not put any foreign matter on the tray.
Use the manual eject hole only when the drive is broken.
