Choosing a Digital Sound Format (Dolby Digital or PCM)

Both analog and digital sounds can be output from the rear-panel connectors on your
Set-Top Box. The digital sound outputs are optical and coaxial connectors labeled "Dolby
Digital Output".
After connecting an optical or a coaxial digital-audio component, you must specify the
transmission format (Dolby Digital or PCM, as appropriate to your component).
