INNER TUBE ASSEMBLY Section IV. Setup. Preliminary inspection 1. Check Mechanical Grapple for any signs of damage incurred during shipping. 2. Check for missing items/fasteners. 3. Check all bolts for snugness. 4. Record model, and serial # of assembly and components. - Page 6 WEIGHT OF INTENDED LOAD PLUS THE MECHANICAL GRAPPLE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANY COMPONENT USED AS RIGGING TO THE MECHANICAL GRAPPLE BE OF A RATED CAPACITY LESS THAN THAT OF THE MECHANICAL GRAPPLE. DO NOT RIG UNPROTECTED NYLON SLINGS OR WIRE ROPE DIRECTLY THROUGH LIFT BAIL.

3. Position Mechanical Grapple at or near center of object to be lifted. 4. Lower Mechanical Grapple onto object, taking care to minimize impact. 5. Ensure that all persons are clear of the Mechanical Grapple and the load. 6. Release tension on lift cable. - Page 8 1-800-653-6069 G.
