2.5.2 Sensor Components

The PCBA is equipped with both active and passive components, for example:
• MCU
• Co-processor, a Neonode proprietary scanning IC
• Optical lenses, made out of polycarbonate
• VCSELs
• Photodiodes
• Other passive components

2.6 Product Integration

The zForce AIR Touch Sensor can be integrated to any host system through a physical connector with 8 contact
pads with support for both I2C and USB HID. The host system can communicate with the sensor through a
communication protocol and an SDK developed by Neonode.
