- Page 19 8.3.5 - ANTI-SHORT CYCLE COMPRESSOR • To avoid over-frequent starting-up of the compressor and thus increase its lifetime, a 3 minute time delay is triggered every time the compressor is activated. • If the temperature varies suddenly during this time delay to the point of calling for heating or cooling, or if the set-point is changed in the same proportions, the LED for the corresponding demand starts flashing, indicating that the anti-short cycle has been activated.
