Commissioning

8.1 Filling and purging

The system must be filled and purged with due care. The pump
rotor space is automatically purged after a short operating pe-
riod.

8.2 Setting the pump output

8.2.1 Setting the pump output without external PWM signal

see Kap. 6.3 auf S. 6 Settings mode

8.2.2 Setting the pump output via PWM signal

When the speed is adjusted using a PWM signal, the setpoint/ac-
tual value comparison required for the regulation is carried out by
an external controller. A signal (PWM) is sent to the pumps from
the external heating controller as a manipulated variable.

Maintenance

Maintenance and repair work must only be carried out by
qualified specialists!
ATTENTION!
WARNING! Danger of electric shock
Risks resulting from electrical energy must be ruled out. Disconnect the
system/pump(s) from the power source and secure it/them against
unauthorized restarting before carrying out any maintenance or repair
work.
ATTENTION!
WARNING! Danger of scalding
When the medium temperatures and system pressures are high, let the
pump cool down and depressurise the system.

ATTENTION!
WARNING! Danger of burns
Depending on the operating status of the pump or the system
(temperature of the medium to be pumped), the pump can become very
hot.
Touching the pump may cause burns!
The temperature at the heatsink can reach up to 70°C within the
permissible operating condition range.
If the signal cable is disconnected from the pump (PWM setting),
e.g. due to a break in the cable, the pump accelerates to the
maximum speed.
