Cut a length of Nunc
Tubing sufficient to extend 2 cm
beyond the ends of the Nunc
CryoTube

Heat tubing gently
while rotating, using
a heat gun to shrink
the tubing around the
CryoTube.

Remove sample by cutting
around the tubing at the
base of the cap and pull vial
from tubing.

Place sample in CryoTube;
tighten screw cap normally.
Center the CryoTube in
the CryoFlex.

Reheat end of the tubing
and squeeze or crimp for top
and bottom seal. Trim any
excess tubing and, if desired,
melt the crimped ends.

To use as a "cane" for lowering
CryoTube into liquid nitrogen:
a) Heat and crimp one end of a
full 50 cm length of CryoFlex.
b) Insert CryoTube Vials
successively.
c) Heat and crimp between
individual CryoTubes or at the
top end of the CryoFlex "cane"
as desired.
