On the conversation list, scroll to a conversation, press the
Options soft key and select:
• Open to open the conversation to start a chat session.
• New conversation to start a new conversation. You can
select a participant from the Conversations list or enter the
participant's ID manually, and then the phone sends an
invitation to her/him.
• Block options → Add to blocked list to block messages
from the current participiant. Select Add ID to list
manually to add a contact to the blocking list or View
blocked list to view blocked contacts. To unblock the
contact, select Unblock.
• Change own availability to change your connection
status.
• Close conversation to close the selected conversation.
• Log out to log out from the IM service.
• Settings to customise options for conversations or servers.
• Exit to close the IM application.
Starting from the contact list
From the IM main view, select IM contacts to view the
contacts that you have added.
If you have received a new message from a contact, it is
indicated by
. The status of each contact displays by the
following indicators.
•
indicates an online contact.
•
indicates an offline contact in the phone's Contacts
directory.
•
indicates a blocked contact.
• No indicator means that the contact is unknown.
