Troubleshooting
Be fore requ esting servi ce fo r this player, che ck the chart belo w fo r a p ossi ble cause

part may el iminate t he problem and restore proper op erat ion.

Reme dy
Insert the A C adaptor se curely into t he power out let.
Condens ation has f ormed: wait about 1 t o 2 hours
to allow t he player t o dry out.
This play er cannot play a disc other than DVD, VCD and
CD.
The disc may be dir ty and may require cle aning.
Ensure t hat the disc is installed with the l abel side up.
Ensu re that the equipment is c onnected properly.
Ensure that the e quipment is connected pr operly.
Ensure that the input setting f or the TV and stereo
system are correct.
Adjust the master volume to a suitable volume by rotati ng
the volume knob at the side of the player.
The pi cture will be somewhat di storted at times: this is
normal.
Some dis cs may have sections wh ich prohibit rapid
advance (or rapid rev erse.)
Check the bat teries are installed wi th the correct polarities.
The batteries are exhausted: replace them wit h new ones.
Point remote control at the remote control sensor and
operate.
Operate the remote cont rol unit at a distance of not
more than 6 m from the r emote control sensor.
Remove the obstacles between the remote control and
remote control sensor.

3 OPEN button - Press this button to open the
disc cover.
4 UP/PREV button- Press this button to move
up and if you keep pressing it for more than 2
seconds, the player will skip to the previous chapter
(for DVD) or track(for VCD/ CD).
5 ENTER button - To confirm an operation.
6 RIGHT/FF b utton - Press this button t o move right
and if you keep pressing it for more than 2 seconds,
the player will play the disc forward at speed:x2,
x4,x8,x16,x32.
7 LEFT/FR bu tton - Press this button to move left
and if you keep pressing it for more than 2 seconds,
the player will play the disc backward at speed:x2,
x4,x8,x16,x32.
8 DOWN/NEXT button - Press this button to move
down and if you keep press ing it for mor e than 2
seconds, the player will skip to the next chapter
(for DVD) or track(for VCD/ CD).
9 MENU button - Press this button to return to
the root menu( DVD) or to turn on/off the PBC(VCD).
10 SETUP but ton -Press t his button to enter
initial settings menu.
11 PLAY/PAU SE button - Press this button to
start or pause playing the d isc.
