Important remarks about reading MPEG-4 videos on this unit
If you e ncoun ter any problems when p laying MPEG 4 videos, please c heck the belo w points:
1)There is a wide variety of code cs and compressio n methods in use. It is possible that s ome
videos, including those downloaded from unofficial websites, are not fully compatible wi th
this unit.
2)This player does not support MPEG4 video s recorded using a High Definition format.
The MPEG-4 HD an d H.264 formats are different from the standard-resolution one.
For the time being, videos encoded in High Definiti on are only readable on c omputers.
3)Maximum resolutions s upported by MPEG-4 codecs and this unit are: 720 x480@ 30fps /
720x576@25fps
4)Videos mus t be encoded with a soundtrack in MP3 format, since oth er formats, such as
AC3, are not supported. If there is no s ound, it means that the a udio codec is not compatible.
5)If your MPEG-4 v ideo file does not a ppear on the unit's screen, chec k that the file name end
s with the extension ".AVI". If this is no t the case, you can rename the file on your personal
computer.
