Confirm the region code setting is right.
If the a udio soundtr ack and/or s ubtitle langua ge does not
exist on the disc, th e language s elected at th e initial settin gs
will not be seen/hea rd.
Subtitles appear only with discs w hich contain them.
Subtitles are cleared from the TV monitor, Per form the
steps dis play the sub titles.
A n alterna tive langu age is no t selecte d with dis cs which
d o not con tain more than one languag e.
In the case of some discs, th e alternat ive langu age can
n ot be sele cted by o perating the LANG UAGE o r
S UBTITLE button. Try select ing it from the DVD menu if
o ne is ava ilable.
This function is dependent on softw are availability. Even if a
disc has a number of a ngles recorded, these angles may be
recorded for specific s cenes only.

Remedy
This funct ion works only for Video C Ds with play back
control.
Rem edy

h ow to use US B devices w ith this mach ine.
-I f the problem still occurs: This machin e has been t ested
w ith the major ity of the ma rket's Flash m emory-base d
d evices (USB keys and MP 3 players).
-H owever, this machine may not be com patible with certain
d evices, in particular exter nal self-pow ered hard dis ks.
Rem edy
Check fir stly that your memory car d is compatible with the
unit. Supported memory cards are SD, SDHC, M S, MMC
formats. W e have test ed this unit w ith most of th e market's
memory cards ; we cannot however guarantee a full
compatibility with all the cards in the market because of the
multiple t echnology st andards in use. Should you have a
compatibility problem: please use a memory card with a
lower capacity (2GB or lower) or el se connect t he unit
through a USB device.
