Basic connection
I t is rec omme nded to connect a multi-s ystem TV.
D iscon nect th e AC adapto r befo re com menc ing co nnecti on.
D o not block ventila tion h oles of equip ment a nd arr ange them s o that air can circu late fre ely.
R ead t hrough the in struct ions b efore c onnec ting o ther eq uipme nt.
E nsure that y ou obs erve t he col or cod ing wh en con nectin g aud io and video cables .

D uring DVD p lay, th e TV v olume may b e at a lower level t han du ring T V broa dcasts , etc.
I f this is the c ase, ad just th e volu me to the de sired l evel.
I f the D VD/VC D/CD playe r is co nnecte d to th e TV t hrough a vid eo cas sette r ecord er,
t he pic ture m ay not be pla yed ba ck no rmally with s ome D VDs. I f this is the c ase,
d o not conne ct the player via the VCR.

3. 1 PAS SWORD - It is used to change the pas sword , and the pro cedure of changing password
is described as followings:
Ente r old p assword in the OLD PASSWORD row
Ente r new password in the NEW PASSWO RD row
Ente r the n ew password again in the CONFIRM PWD row
Pres s OK button on the screen to return to the Password Setup Pag e, then the
Passwo rd has been changed.
NOTE:
The original password is 1 36900, you can change i t, but you should w rite it
down and keep it safe. If you forget the passw ord, pl ease use the original pas sword :136900.
3. 2 PARENTAL -
This setting allows certain people to view certain disc s, whic h may be
es pecia lly use ful to f orbid c hildre n from viewing som e unb efitting discs. When you
have en tered t he Parental Control, the s creen will display:
