Using the VIDEO LIGHT (VP-D11(i)/D15(i) only)
VIDEO LIGHT works in CAMERA mode only.
To brighten the scene when natural lighting is too dim.
VIDEO LIGHT works in SP mode only.
– If you turn on the LIGHT in LP mode, the LIGHT indicator (
and "LP" will be blinking in the LCD.
Danger
The video light can become extremely hot.
Do not touch it either while in operation or soon after turning it off,
otherwise serious injury may result.
Do not place the camcorder into the carrying case immediately after using
the video light, since it can remain extremely hot for some time.
Do not use near flammable or explosive materials.
It is recommended that you consult your nearest SAMSUNG for bulb
replacement.
– The life of the bulb is approximately 50 hours.
1. Set the camcorder to the CAMERA mode.
2. Set the LIGHT switch to ON.
The LIGHT indicator ( ) appears in the LCD
and the light is turned on.
3. If you want to turn off the VIDEO LIGHT,
set the LIGHT switch to OFF.
Reference
The LIGHT is turned off automatically during EJECTING or tape INSERTING.
Even if the battery indicator ( ) does not blink when the battery pack's
charge is low, the camcorder may turn off automatically when you turn on
the LIGHT, or when you start recording with LIGHT turned on.
The built-in light is used as a subsidiary light, it may not be enough for
outdoor lighting.
The picture quality may deteriorate if you use the VIDEO LIGHT
continuously for more than 20 minutes.
If you turn on the LIGHT in 1/6, 1/13, 1/25 SHUTTER mode,
the manual SHUTTER mode will be switched off.
The SHUTTER mode does not operate when the LIGHT is on.

El FOCO de ILUMINACIÓN del VÍDEO sólo funciona en modo CAMERA.
Sirve para iluminar mejor una escena cuando la luz natural es demasiado
tenue.
El FOCO de ILUMINACIÓN del VÍDEO sólo funciona en modo SP.

– Si enciende el FOCO de ILUMINACIÓN en modo LP, el indicador
LIGHT ( ) y "LP" parpadearán en la LCD.
Peligro
El foco de iluminación del vídeo puede calentarse mucho.
No lo toque cuando esté en funcionamiento ni inmediatamente después de
apagarlo ya que podría quemarse.
No guarde la videocámara en su bolsa justo después de utilizar el foco de
iluminación del vídeo, puede tardar en enfriarse.
No lo utilice cerca de materiales inflamables ni explosivos.
Se recomienda consultar al concesionario de SAMSUNG más cercano para
la cambiar las bombillas.
– La bombilla dura aproximadamente 50 horas.
1. Coloque la videocámara en modo CAMERA.
2. Ponga el interruptor LIGHT en ON.
Aparece el indicador LIGHT (

enciende el foco de iluminación.
3. Si desea apagar el foco de iluminación del vídeo,
OFF
ponga el interruptor LIGHT en OFF.
Notas
El FOCO de ILUMINACIÓN se apaga automáticamente durante la EXPUL-
SIÓN o INSERCIÓN de la cinta.
Aunque el indicador de batería (
poca batería, la videocámara puede apagarse automáticamente cuando
encienda el foco de iluminación o cuando empiece a filmar con el foco de
iluminación encendido.
El foco de iluminación incorporado se utiliza como luz subsidiaria, problable-
mente no sea suficiente como iluminación en el exterior.
La calidad de la imagen puede deteriorarse si utiliza el foco de iluminación
del vídeo de forma continua durante más de 20 minutos.
Si enciende el foco de iluminación en modo 1/6, 1/13, 1/25 SHUTTER, se
desactivará el modo SHUTTER manual.
El modo SHUTTER no funciona cuando el foco de iluminación está encendido.
