✤ Before contacting a service centre, perform the following simple checks.
They might save you the time and the expense of an unnecessary call.

Inform that...
the battery pack is almost discharged.
the battery pack is fully discharged.
the tape has almost reached its end.
the tape reached its end.
there is no tape in the camcorder.
the tape is protected from recording.
the camcorder has some
mechanical fault.
moisture condensation
has formed in the camcorder.
Action
Exchange it with a charged one.
Exchange it with a charged battery.
Prepare a new one.
Change to a new one.
Insert a tape.
Check the red tab, on the tape.
1. Eject the tape.
2. Set to OFF
3. Detach the battery.
4. Reattach the battery.
