You're minutes away from more great TV with your
new YouView + box.
Swapping boxes couldn't be simpler. Follow How to
swap boxes in this guide to unplug the old and
connect the new.
When you're up and running again, you can find out
more about using your new box in the User Guide
that came with it.
Before you start
Your recordings won't transfer on to your new box, so
make sure you've watched everything. Make a note on

can schedule them again later.

Open BT Player for even more choice
Press for all your BT TV programmes and to download any subscriptions. There's
something for everyone, including children's shows, films and music – all without ads.

Press to open the YouView main menu
This button is your launch pad into the wonderful world of YouView, including easy
access to on-demand programmes, players, apps, your recordings, settings and more.

Fine tune your viewing with HD
To watch in HD, press while watching a channel. If it's available in HD, you'll
see an option to Watch Now in HD. Freeview HD channels start at channel 101.

Use your super-smart search tool
If you know what programme you're looking for, press
using the number buttons on your remote.

Find what to watch using the YouView Guide and filters
Press to see what's on and scroll back to catch programmes you might
have missed. To quickly find what you want, press the blue
left or right to choose the category to filter by and then press

Move quickly through the YouView Guide
With one press of P or P you can jump up or down a page. With one press
of or , you can go forward or back 24 hours.
