Selecting the best location
The unit should be level when installed, so that the drainage system and other mechanisms
operate efficiently. If possible, install the unit in a shaded area on the home's north or east side.
Before installation, select a location that fulfills these requirements:
• easy access to control panel.
• away from direct exposure to sunlight.
• adequate ventilation.
• can easily connect to a power source.
• can support the weight of the air conditioner and will not cause increased operating noise
and vibration.
• where there is no obstacles near the air inlet and outlet.
• the bottom of the unit clears at least 750mm above ground level.
