Use the Central phonebook
Enter "Contacts", step to "Central phonebook" and press
"Find". Enter the first letter(s) in the first name, a space and
the first letter(s) in the family name. Press "Ok". The Central
phonebook will be searched and a list of matching names will
be displayed. You can step to the next entry in alphabetic
order by pressing the Navigation key. Press "Select" or Call
key to make the call.
Soft keys and Hot keys
The three Soft keys below the display can be defined for
specific functions such as dialing a specific number etc.
A Hot key can have the same function as a Soft key and any
key "0" - "9" can be programmed as a Hot key.

Turn the automatic keypad lock on/off
Enter "Settings", step to "General" and press ( ). Select
"Auto key lock, press "Change"; the Auto lock checkbox is
marked/unmarked. A locked keypad is indicated by the
"Locked keypad" icon.
Switch the telephone off/on
Off: Enter "Modes". Step to "Switch off" and press "Select".
Step to ( ) "Yes" and press "Ok".
On: Press and hold the Call key; the question "Switch on?"
will be displayed. Press "Yes" within 10 seconds.
Alarm functions
Personal alarm*
Press the red Alarm button twice within 2 seconds. "Personal
alarm" is displayed.
Test alarm*
Press and hold the red Alarm button until "Test alarm" is
displayed.
*Dependent of installation
Deactivate/Activate Alarms
Enter "Settings", step to "Alarm settings" and press ( ).
Select "No-movement", "Man-down", or "Pull-cord", press
"Change"; the checkbox is unmarked/marked.
Hot keys/Soft keys can also be reserved for deactivation/
activation of alarms.
