     Use battery only with charger listed. MODEL BATTERY PACK RY09600, RY09701 130269012  Wear heavy long pants, boots, and gloves. Do not wear loose fitting clothing, short pants, jewelry of any kind, or go barefoot.  Heavy protective clothing may increase operator fatigue, which could lead to heat stroke.

    Always disconnect the spark plug before performing maintenance or accessing any movable parts.  Do not point the blower nozzle in the direction of people or pets.  Never run the unit without the blower tubes installed.

     If any parts are damaged or missing, please call 1-800-860-4050 for assistance. FEATURES ELECTRIC START The blower has an electric start which can be used in place of the recoil starter. ENGINE The blower has a powerful 30cc engine with sufficient power to handle tough jobs.

    NOTE: The position of the adjustable handle may be moved for the best comfort after the blower is strapped onto the operator’s back.  Place clamp in the groove on the bottom end of the bellows and install the upper tube onto the bellows.

     Clear leaves and other debris from your lawn  Keeping decks and driveways free from grass clippings, leaves, pine needles, and other debris FUELING AND REFUELING THE BLOWER FUEL MIXTURE This product is powered by a 2-cycle engine and requires pre-mixing gasoline and 2-cycle lubricant.
  • Page 12 NOTE: If charger does not charge battery pack or orange LED continues to glow after more than 30 minutes of charging, return battery pack and charging assembly to your nearest Ryobi Authorized Service Center for electrical check.  The battery pack will become slightly warm to the touch while charging.

     Start the blower. Refer to Starting and Stopping earlier in this manual.  Put on the blower again. The unit should be operated on the operator’s right side as shown.  To keep from scattering debris, blow around the outer edges of a debris pile.

    Please contact the nearest service dealer for servicing your spark arrestor. WARNING: Never run the blower without the spark arrestor in place. Failure to do so could result in a fire that could cause serious personal injury. FUEL CAP...
