CONNECTIONS

POWERLINK SPEAKER CABLE

The OneRemote Radio PL2 connects to Bang & Olufsen BeoLab speakers with a PowerLink cable
with 8 pin DIN connectors. These connectors carry both right and left signals. The speaker
connection is like in any other Bang & Olufsen setup either:
1. One speaker connects to the OneRemote Radio PL2 with one PowerLink cable and the
second speaker connects in turn to the first one with another PowerLink cable.
2. Using a PowerLink splitter each speaker is connected separately with its own PowerLink
cable.
If the Bang & Olufsen BeoLab speaker is equipped with a RJ 45 socket instead of 8 pin DIN a
suitable converter cable has to be used.
BEOLINK PASSIVE & BEOLINK ML/MCL CONVERTER, POWER AMPLIFIERS
The OneRemote Radio PL2 connects to a BeoLink Passive or to the identical BeoLink ML/MCL
Converter with the adaptor cable, OneRemote LSNUT414 type 392074439. Without this
adaptorcable the OneRemote Radio PL2 cannot turn on this type of amplifier.

ANTENNA CONNECTION

The OneRemote Radio PL2 requires an antenna signal of sufficient strength and quality.
To be able to receive both DAB+ and FM programs the antenna signal needs to contain both DAB+
and FM frequencies.
• If the FM signal is not strong enough noise shall be heard on the channel received.
• If the DAB+ signal is not of sufficient quality everything from babbling to complete lack of
sound shall be the result.
• If the OneRemote Radio PL2 is not to be used for FM or DAB+ listening this antenna input
needs not be connected.
