Tha rtinlortcd fiber case it one piece and it fastened to the diassis with
sis screws and finish washers. The screws are locattd two on the front
o> the case bdow the keyboard and four in the back of the case surround
ing the back rear pane). Lift the case straight up for removal.
Logic Board Ramova)
Place the terminal in an upside down position on a soft surface to avoid
damage. Remove the fne scrawl and lockwashcra A that secure the
bottom plate to the chassis. The Lo^ Board it attachad to the bottom
plate with plastic dipt, tee Point B.
Do not remove the screws attaching the keyboard C unless the keyboard
it to be removed also. Carefully lift the bottom plate/Logic Board and
notice that there are four vriring hameu attachment pointy one for the
keyboard at the front of the Lo^ Board and three for the power supply/
m^tor electronics and*SVregulator at therearof theLos!c Board, tee
Point 0. Catefully remove the keytward strap and lift the front of the
board to that the other plugs can be removed. The rear plugs have a
plasticspring dip type connector that must be compretsed before removal.
The board should be pulled forward to clear the twitches and plugs from
their holes in the rear of the chassis and the board can then be removed.
Keyboard Assembly
Remove the case at detcribed above. Remove the seven tcrewt and lock-
washetf (see Point Cl from (he underneath side of the chassis on the key
board end. Move the keyboard away from the monitor sli^tly and unplug
the wire strap from the Logic Board to the keyboard. Remove the ground
strip (not shown) end remove tlte keytioard.
Monitor Assembly Removal
The bottom plate/Logic Board and case should be removed first (tec above).
Three tcrews and lockwashert (lee P^nt El hold the Monitor assembly to
the chassis. Remove the screws from the underside of the chassis and un
plug the cable attached to the CRTprinted ciituit board. The complete
Monitor assembly can then be removed.
