Cleaning and Care o f th e Vehicle
In operation your vehicle is sub­
jected to many external effects
w hich are harm ful to body and
underside. Besides the often rather
inclem ent and alternating w eather
conditions, this includes air pollu­
tion, thaw ing salts, tar, flying
gravel and stones. In order to avoid
damage to the paintw ork, remove
fuels, coolants, lubricants, brake
fluid, bird droppings, w ood resin
and the like as soon as possible.
Particularly unfavorable conditions,
as fo r example in the vicinity o f
the ocean, in industrial areas
(smoke, exhaust emissions), and in
w inter, may require specific pre­
ventive measures.

Have the vehicle regularly exam ­
ined fo r damage caused by
th ro w n up gravel or other defects.
A n y damage should be repaired as
soon as possible, particularly be­
fore the onset o f the w inter.
Your vehicle has received a rust-
proofing treatm ent in production.
In order to maintain the rust pro­
tection, we recomm end repeating
treatm ent w ith in one year of
operation.

Deep scratches, corrosive deposits,
etched stains and damage due to
