8. SIMULTANEOUS OPERATION OF TWO DETECTORS IN CLOSE VICINITY

If you intend to examine an area with two detectors working close to each, a
minimum distance of 2 m is possible provided that the working frequency of the metal
detectors has been adjusted correspondingly.
The adjustment of the working frequency is done as follows:
1. Set the program selector to position
2. Press button „C" in the hand grip and keep it pressed.
As a check a short tone (beep) becomes audible (keep button „C" pressed)
and two LEDs in the display light up.
Adjust the working frequency with buttons „+" and „-" (keep button „C"
pressed)
The adjusted working frequency is indicated by the LED-display in the hand
grip as follows:
Frequency 1
Detector No. 1
Frequency 7
Detector No. 2
After having adjusted the desired working frequency let go of button „C".
3. Set program selector to position „normal" or „mineral" and start detection work.
The achieved data will be stored deliberately until new frequencies are chosen
(even if the detector is switched OFF, if batteries are missing, if keeping on stock,
a.s.o.).
