Hi. I have a defiant maxdetect motion sensing security light. It is too sensitive and when it is triggered it stays on and won't turn off.
To adjust the sensitivity of the Defiant MaxDetect motion sensing security light model 1002366429:
- Turn the "SENS" control counterclockwise to increase sensitivity.
- Turn the "SENS" control clockwise to decrease sensitivity.
Note: The sensor is more sensitive to motion moving across its front and less sensitive to motion moving directly toward it. Higher sensitivity increases the chance of false triggering.

My defiant DFI-8853 has stopped working is it battery operated. What can I replace it with that uses the same set up.
After a couple years of working fine, my light does not turn on. When I flip the switch, the sensor blinks red multiple times and then stops. I have seen this problem online, but no one has provided an answer. Hopefully the company can help
