Bluetooth
technology is radio technology and therefore allows wireless
communication. Data and voice can be transmitted simultaneously. This does
not require any line-of-sight connection between the participating devices. The
typical radio range in a free sound field is 10m (appr. 30ft.). However,
interference from other electrical devices or obstructions may reduce the

The VoiceCom 1000™ is operated with the aid of five keys:
During a call, the (" ▼ "," ▲ ") arrow keys serve to regulate the volume; at other
times, they are used to leaf through the menu. The "Answer" and "Hang up"
keys serve to accept or reject an incoming call. The "Hang up" key can also be
pressed to end a call.
Pressing the "Answer" key is also used to select a highlighted point in the
menu and pressing the "Hang up" key to leave the current menu.
In the basic state (no menu selected) three indicators in the upper third of the
display show whether or not a Bluetooth
progress and if the phone is logged in. In addition, status display indicate the
