There is no power
• Se e if the power cord b e c ame unplug g e d.
• C he ck for a blown fuse or circuit bre aker or a power outa g e.
There is no picture
• The antenna could b e disconne cte d.

• The tuner (Auto Tuner Setup) could b e set improp erly. Se e p a g e 20.
• The TV station may b e having difficulties. C he ck to se e if other stations are working.
Remote control is not
• C he ck to se e that the b atteries are still working and prop erly installe d.

• There is a problem with the TV. Unplug the set and c all for servic e.

The color quality

There are lines
• There could b e interferenc e from another ele ctric al a p plianc e, such as a computer,

c a ble conne ction which is less prone to interferenc e.

• A building or p assing airplane c an refle ct the original signal and produc e a se cond,
pictures (ghosts)

Picture is snowy
• Your antenna may b e d ama g e d, disconne cte d or turne d. C he ck the antenna
(ima g e noise)

Scre en is 80% bla ck
• The Close d C a ption Text mod e is on. Turn it off in the Close d C a ption Menu, p a g e 37.
Stereo or bilingual
• Make sure the MTS settings are corre ct. Se e "MTS" on p a g e 33.

Static ele ctricity
• It is normal to fe el static ele ctricity if you brush or touch the scre en.

• It is normal for the TV to make cra ckling sounds when first turne d on or off. Unless
cra ckling sounds
the sound or picture b e come a bnormal, this is fine.
