InTouch fails to
The badge is unreadable or does

the correct badge reader type or
company ID code (if you are
using a code).
The badge reader may not be
working correctly.
Corrective Action
1. Inspect the badge for cleanliness.
2. Clean the badge and badge reader.
Replace the badge.
1. Access Maintenance mode at the InTouch.
2. Access the Symbology settings.
3. Turn on the appropriate symbology.
Correct the badge reader and company ID code
settings in the host application.
Run the Badge Test test at the InTouch:
1. Access Maintenance mode at the InTouch.
2. Tap the Test button on the touch screen.
3. Select Badge from the list of options.
4. Follow the prompts to conduct the test and
note the result.
If the test does not indicate the issue, run a
Reader Report as follows:
1. Access Maintenance mode at the InTouch.
2. Tap the Reports button and scroll down to
Readers.
Note the report results and contact your Kronos
Representative for assistance.
