Connections
The 4 Port USB Hub is used to expand the available USB ports on a host device to allow for additional USB connections. The 4 port USB hub
connects to a number of RDM products such as the Plant Controller or the Data Manager. The Hub requires a 24V ac or dc supply to operate.
The "USB Device" port is connected to the Host device allowing additional USB devices to be connected to the Host device via the 4 USB ports.
Each USB Port has a pair of status LED's to indicate the current port condition.
Status LEDs
Each USB port has two associated status LED's and the following describes their operation.
Green LED
Yellow LED
Warning
Ensure that all power is
switched off before
installing or maintaining
this product
On = Connection present.
Off = No connection
On = Indicates a fault condition e.g. over current condition on the port.
Off = Indicates normal operation.
