For more details on the Simulation mode, see its description later in this document. The parameters of the Arcade mode are listed below: Instrument: Guitar or Bass, determine the type of speaker cabinet you can access and select later, the power amp type and parameters and EQ characteristics of the Contour parameter.

This is where you will find the “sweet spot”, the perfect microphone position. You have the option to choose whether you want to use the Two notes cabinets and microphones combinations (Cab/mic) or a third party IR (User) selected from the installed IR’s in one of the 4 available User banks (of up to 128 files each).

Furthermore, depending on the cabinet model used, and especially with the ones with multiple speakers, moving the microphone away can bring some higher frequencies back. This is simply due to the directivity of the loudspeakers.
