second, date, day of the week and month.

even months except February of leap years.
3 . T i m e i n d i c a t i o n : Changeover between
1 2 - h o u r a n d 2 4 - h o u r i n d i c a t i o n s i s p o s -
s ible.
4 . Stopwatch: 24-hour stopwatch with 1⁄100
second readout up to 40 minutes and with
1 s e c o n d r e a d o u t a f t e r t h e f i r s t 4 0 m i n -
u t e s .

1 Press Button B to show the calendar (month,
date, and day) display. The calendar dis-
play is shown while Button B is kept pressed.

C while keeping Button B pressed.

* In the 12-hour indication, "A" (AM)/"P" (PM)

tion, there is no indication.

1 Press Button A to show the stopwatch dis-
play. (The stopwatch indicator starts flashing.)
The stopwatch can measure up to 24 hours
and is displayed in minutes, seconds, and
1 / 1 0 0 s e c o n d s u p t o 4 0 m i n u t e s , a n d i n
hours, minutes, and seconds after the first
40 minutes. (The 1/100 second indicator
flashes during the first 40 minutes.)
When the measurement is over 24 hours,
t h e s t o p w a t c h w i l l b e r e s e t t o " 0 : 0 0 o o "
and start counting again.

3 W h e n m e a s u r i n g a l o n g p e r i o d o f t i m e ,
return the stopwatch to the time/calendar
d isplay after the stopw a t ch s t a r ts t o p r e-
vent any possible mistaken operation.
* When Button B or C is pressed in the stop-
w a t c h d i s p l a y , a s i n g l e " b e e p " s o u n d s t o
confirm the operation.

Alarm set indicator
1 P r e s s B u t t o n A f o r 2 s e c o n d s t o a c t i v a t e
the alarm setting function. (The alarm set
indicator starts flashing.)
2 P r e s s B u t t o n B t o a c t i v a t e t h e " H o u r " o r
"Minute" setting. The display changes in
the following order with each press of Button
B .
Hour setting
3 One digit (flashing) is advanced with each
press of Button C. The digits are advanced
quickly by keeping Button C pressed.
4 A f t e r a l l t h e a d j u s t m e n t s a r e c o m p l e t e d ,
press Button A to return to the time/cal-
endar display.
(The display returns directly to the time/
calendar display and not to the time/cal-
endar setting.)
N o t e : When setting the hour digits, be sure
to check that the "A" (AM)/"P" (PM)
mark is correctly set.
HOW TO ENGAGE AND DISENGAGE
THE ALARM AND THE HOURLY TIME
