    Installation and Use Connecting the CS-32 MiniDESK MIDI The MIDI version of the CS-32 MiniDESK can connect to any computer or device that has a standard MIDI port. Configuring the CS-32 MiniDESK MIDI for OMS Applications To use the CS-32 MiniDESK MIDI under MacOS9 with OMS applications, you will need to create a device in OMS.

    MIDI Control Surfaces Guide in the Pro Tools Help Menu. Note: When the Scrub or Shuttle mode is selected, Pro Tools hides and disables the mouse. This is not due to the CS-32 MiniDESK, rather it is a function of Pro Tools.
  • Page 13 Using the CS-32 MiniDESK in Digital Performer 3.1 Value/Mode Display Displays the current mode. The default mode is Pan/Send, during which the encoders will control the selected channel’s Pan and Sends. The display will read “PA” when the CS-32 is in this mode.
  • Page 14 Defaults to toggling Record for each channel. Arm LEDs display the status for each channel. During mixdown, the function of the Arm buttons can be changed to toggling between automation off and some automation mode. The particular automation mode that the Arm buttons toggle is set using the Function Keys.

    If you must use an extension cable, please keep the distance to a minimum. Footswitch The CS-32 MiniDESK has a footswitch jack at the end of the cable attached to the unit. Any normally open switch contact with a ¼-inch mono plug will work.

    Power The MIDI version of the CS-32 MiniDESK requires a 9 volt DC supply capable of delivering at least 200 milliamps. The MIDI version of the CS-32 MiniDESK comes with a power supply appropriate for the country in which the unit was sold. If you need a power supply specific to your location, please contact your local distributor or JLCooper Electronics.

    Troubleshooting If for some reason the CS-32 MiniDESK does not give you the expected results, take a moment to do some investigating. The most important concept is that you have your CS-32 MiniDESK connected properly as outlined in Installation and Use. Take a moment to double check your setup.

    JLCooper Electronics Limited Factory Warranty JLCooper Electronics ("JLCooper") warrants this product to be free of defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable and the benefits apply only to the original owner. Proof of purchase in the form of an itemized sales receipt is required for warranty coverage.
