Instructions for the Steering Remote Controls on the ECLIPSE CD3100

1. Connection of Hardware (except Steering Remote connection)

1) Remove the factory radio.
2) Install the CD3100 (consult ECLIPSE technical support for assistance).
NOTE: At this point, only the main connector should be plugged into the CD3100 and
the CD3100 should not be completely installed.

2. Create a file on a CDR

Insert a blank CDR into a Windows OS computer.
1)
Run your CD burner software and burn "XXXXXXX.ssw" into the root of the CDR.
2)
(See "Steering Remote Table.pdf" to identify the correct SSW file name.)

3. Setting up the CD3100

1) Power up the CD3100.
2) Push and hold the "EQ/MENU" button.
3) Push "Up" or "Down" to scroll to "FUNC" and push "SEL" to select it.

4) Push the "Up or the "Down" to scroll to "STEERING SW" and push "SEL" to select it.
5) The front panel automatically opens.
6) Insert the CDR created in section 2 into the CD slot.
7) The front panel automatically closes.
