NOTE:
All system board spare part kits include replacement thermal material.
All system boards use the following part numbers:
xxxxxx-001: Non-Windows operating systems
xxxxxx-601: Windows operating system
Description
System board with integrated AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 2700U mobile processor
System board with integrated AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 2500U mobile processor
System board with integrated AMD Ryzen 3 PRO 2300U mobile processor
Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4.
Remove the following components:
a.
Bottom cover (see
b.
Battery (see
c.
Hard drive (see
d.
Solid-state drive (see
e.
WWAN module (see
f.
WLAN module (see
g.
Memory modules (see
h.
Keyboard (see
i.
Internal frame (see
Remove the system board:
IMPORTANT:
1.
Position the computer upright and open.
Bottom cover on page
Battery on page
Hard drive on page
Solid-state drive on page
WLAN module on page
WWAN module on page
Memory on page
Keyboard on page
Internal frame on page
Make special note of each screw size and location during removal and replacement
