Check with eyes whether

Loose the brass nut, then
switch on and check
whether fuel comes out
(place a pan under the
pump)

If no fuel is pump up or
fuel is not flowing at
least 2" high, the fuel
pump is clogged or
defective (see exhibit
"How to restore the fuel
